Undergraduate Researcher / Developer

  • Collaborated with Mead Johnson in a multidisciplinary team to design and implement a Python-based peptide database + Next.js web app for biomedical research applications
  • Identified and integrated data from multiple open-source peptide databases, consolidating structural, biochemical, and trait-specific characteristics into a centralized resource
  • Designed database infrastructure initially using PostgreSQL, then migrated to SQLite for improved portability and deployment
  • Developed a React web application enabling Mead Johnson researchers to search and query peptides relevant to their biomedical research and view relevant data visualizations
